Numerary members have an interest in developing in the field of biosafety and biosecurity. They have a voice in all discussions of the Association. They are discounted and eligible for scholarships.

Full members have documented training, experience and verifiable professional responsibilities in the areas of biosafety and biosecurity. They have voice and vote in all the decisions of the Association, in addition to being elected to the Board of Directors and its commissions. They are discounted and eligible for scholarships.

New Membership are not members but wish to participate in AMEXBIO and wish to remain informed of the activities of this organization. They are not discounted or eligible for scholarships until approved.
